Picking a gift for a recreation instructor
A recreation instructor keeps people moving, whether that's leading water aerobics at the community pool, running a summer day camp, teaching youth basketball, or planning the weekend hikes at a park district. The work is hands-on and often early or late, and the days blur together between whistles, sign-in sheets and sunscreen. A gift that acknowledges the job lands well. A tee they can wear to a camp kickoff or a hoodie for chilly outdoor sessions gets used constantly. A mug is the quiet thank-you for the coffee they drink between classes. Make it theirs by changing the second line to their program, their facility or their activity, like aquatics, summer camp or outdoor adventure. If they're one of several instructors at a rec center, the Team Shop lets you order one design with every instructor's name on their own shirt, which makes a practical and memorable appreciation gift.
Recreation Instructor gift questions
Can I add their facility or program name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a program, facility, or activity. Type it in and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Is there a special day to celebrate recreation instructors?
Recreation and parks groups often hold appreciation events in the spring and summer, when programs are ramping up. Ordering a few weeks early gives you time to get it there.
Can I order shirts for a whole recreation staff?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Are there gifts that work for instructors who work outdoors?
Dark tees and hoodies are a good choice for outdoor work because they hold up well to sun and dirt. A mug is handy for the coffee they carry from class to class.
What sizes do the recreation instructor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a recreation instructor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
