Picking a gift for a research associates
Research associates are the people who keep a lab or study running: they set up experiments, clean and log data, chase down reagents, and often hold the whole project together when the principal investigator is in meetings. Their days are long on bench work and short on credit, so a gift that says their job out loud tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with the title on it is an easy way to show you noticed the work. Add their lab name, their institution's department, or the year they started, and it becomes theirs rather than a generic job shirt. A mug for the lab fridge or the office desk is a practical reminder that somebody values the work. If you're buying for a whole research group, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a nice way to thank a team that rarely gets thanked as a group.
Research Associates gift questions
Can I add a lab name or department to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the lab, department or project name there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a kids or baby version for research associates?
Research associates usually aren't the kids in the picture, so the kids and baby designs are mostly for the family side. Choose the adult tee or hoodie for the job itself.
Can I order shirts for my whole research team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What's a good gift for a research associate starting a new position?
A mug or tee with their title and the year they started makes a welcome gift that marks the beginning of the job.
What sizes do the research associates shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a research associates gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
