Picking a gift for a research director
A research director usually runs a team of scientists or analysts and spends a lot of the week in meetings, reviewing budgets, and trying to turn messy data into a decision someone can act on. They carry the weight of a whole group's work, and they often keep the lab or the department running through a grant cycle with more paperwork than they'd like. A gift that acknowledges the job lands well: a tee for the weekend when they finally step away from the spreadsheets, or a mug for the first coffee of a long planning day. Type the title into the text box and the preview shows how it reads. If the title is long, try a shorter line like Research Director on the front with the department or organization on the second line. For a whole team that's chipping in for a retirement or promotion, the Team Shop lets you put every colleague's name on their own shirt in one order.
Research Director gift questions
Can I add a department or organization name to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the department, lab, or company name there. The live preview shows how it fits before you order.
What's a good gift for a research director who's leaving the role?
A mug or tee with their title and a line that marks the milestone, such as a retirement year or the name of the project they led, makes a personal keepsake that acknowledges their years of leadership.
Can I order for everyone on a research team at once?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the research director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a research director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
