Picking a gift for a resident engineer
A resident engineer is usually the person who lives on a project site, watching the work get built day by day, checking that contractors follow the plans, and catching problems before they turn expensive. Their days run long and often start before the crew arrives, with hard hats, site walks and a lot of phone calls with the design team. A gift that acknowledges that life lands well: a hoodie for cold mornings on a job site, a tee for the weekend they finally take off, or a mug for the trailer coffee that's been going cold since six. Put their title on it and add the project name or the year they took the role, so it reads as theirs and not a generic engineering shirt. Many designs have a second line for exactly that, so you can type in the project, the company or a name and check the spacing in the live preview before you order.
Resident Engineer gift questions
Can I add a project name or company under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the project, company or year there and the live preview shows how it sits before you order.
Is there a version for a kids or baby gift?
Only a few designs have kids or baby versions for this word, so check the product filter to see which ones are available.
Can I order for a whole engineering team at once?
Yes. The Team Shop prints one design with a separate name for each person, and you choose a size for each one.
What sizes do the resident engineer shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a resident engineer gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
