Picking a gift for a rn transitional
A transitional RN usually comes from a different corner of nursing, like a CNA or LPN, or from a non-nursing career, and then spends a year or two learning the RN side of the job. That in-between stretch is a lot of new vocabulary, new responsibilities and long shifts that don't feel finished yet. A gift that marks the step up tends to land well, especially something they can wear or use on the floor. Put RN on it, and add their unit or the year they passed boards if you know it. A hoodie is good for the cold break room, a tee for the drive in, and a mug is the one object nobody else on the unit will claim. Because the term is specific, a shirt that says RN Transitional reads as an insider joke to people in the field, which is exactly the point. Check the preview so the abbreviation sits cleanly on the line you choose.
RN Transitional gift questions
What does RN transitional mean?
It usually refers to a nurse who is moving into the RN role from another background, such as an LPN or a different career. It's a term used inside nursing, so the shirt reads as a job marker to people in the field.
Can I add their name or unit to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a name, a unit or a year. Type it into the text box and the preview will update before you order.
Is there a gift for someone who just finished RN school?
A hoodie or tee with RN and their graduation year works well. It marks the moment they earned the license and is something they'll wear on the floor.
Can I order shirts for a whole new-grad group?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the rn transitional shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a rn transitional gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
