Gifts from Rough And Ready
Rough And Ready is a small mining town in the Sierra foothills of Northern California, and the name is said to date to the Gold Rush era, though exact origin stories vary and should be read as local lore. People from places like this tend to be proud of small-town identity, the kind that shows up on a shirt worn at a county fair or a high school reunion. A gift here works best when it speaks to that: the sense of belonging to a place that's easy to miss on a map. For someone who grew up there and left, a tee or mug with the town name is a quiet way of saying you remember where they're from. For someone who still lives there, a hoodie is practical for cool mornings in the hills. Add a second line with a year, a road or a family name to make it theirs.
Rough And Ready gift questions
Can I add a year or a street to the design?

Are there designs for kids?
Yes, there are kids tees, dark kids tees and baby onesies with this name. Use the product filter to see those options.
