Picking a gift for a science internship
A science internship usually means a summer or semester in a lab, a field site or a research group where most of the work happens before anyone's name goes on a paper. Interns spend long days pipetting, running experiments, cleaning equipment and asking the questions they're too nervous to ask out loud. The gifts that land are the ones that say they're part of the work now. A tee for the first day in the lab, a hoodie for the cold early mornings, or a mug for the bench where the coffee is always getting cold while the data loads. Put the words science intern on it, or add the lab name, the program year or their research area in the second line. If you're buying for a whole cohort, the Team Shop lets you print one design with each intern's name on their own shirt. Many internships wrap up in late August or early September, so a gift arriving in that stretch often gets worn right away.
Science Internship gift questions
What should I write on a science internship gift?
Most people use science intern, plus the lab, the program year or their research field on a second line. That keeps it personal without guessing at details you may not know.
Can I add the name of the lab or research area?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the lab, department or research area there and check the preview before ordering.
Is a science internship gift a good idea for someone starting a new job?
It can be. A tee or mug marks the start of the experience and gives them something to wear or use on the first day.
What sizes do the science internship shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a science internship gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
