Picking a gift for a scrub tech
Scrub techs keep the operating room running. They set up instruments, hand the surgeon what they need before they ask for it, and count every sponge and needle so nothing gets left inside a patient. Long cases mean hours on their feet in cold rooms, so the gifts they actually wear are the soft, comfortable ones. A tee for the drive home, a hoodie for the chilly OR, a mug that's clearly theirs for the break room. Put their name on it and add their surgical specialty or hospital unit, such as ortho, cardiac, or L&D, so it reads as their job and not just a generic scrub tech shirt. If you're buying for a whole surgical team, one design with each person's name in the Team Shop makes a better thank-you than another box of donuts. Surgical tech and scrub tech are often used interchangeably, so you can type either term to match how they describe themselves.
Scrub Tech gift questions
Can I put a certification after their name?
Yes. Type it into the text box after their name or on its own line. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is scrub tech the same as surgical tech?
The terms are often used for the same role, and many people use both. Type whichever one matches how they describe their job.
Can I order shirts for my whole surgical team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Can I add their hospital unit or specialty?
Many designs have a second line, so you can add a unit like OR, ortho, or cardiac under the main word.
What sizes do the scrub tech shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a scrub tech gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
