Gifts from Selkirk
Selkirk is a small town, and the people who live there tend to be proud of it in a quiet way. A Selkirk shirt is for the person who grew up there and still says home when they mean it, or for the one who moved away and wears the name to remind everyone where they came from. Since this is a place name rather than a city everyone knows, a gift that carries the town's name feels personal in a way a generic souvenir never will. Add a year they were born, a school class, or the street they grew up on in the second line, and the shirt becomes a small piece of their own history. A hoodie suits the cold months on the Scottish Borders, and a mug works for the kitchen table where hometown talk always starts. Because it's a smaller place, the details that matter most are the ones only the person and their family would recognize, so the more specific you make the line, the more it will mean to them.
