Picking a gift for a shop tech
Shop techs spend their days under hoods and on lifts, dealing with greasy hands, tight bays and customers who want the car back yesterday. The gifts that land are the ones that suit that work: a sturdy tee that can take a little oil, a hoodie for the cold garage floor, a mug for the coffee they drink between jobs. A shop tech's name or the shop they work at on the second line makes the gift theirs, and a shirt that says shop tech tells everyone in the bay what they do. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each tech's name on their own shirt beats another round of donuts. Whatever you choose, the preview lets you check the spacing before you order.
Shop Tech gift questions
Can I add my shop's name to a shop tech shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the shop name there and the preview will update before you order.
Are there shop tech designs for kids?
Yes, there are a few kids tee designs and a baby onesie design. Use the product filter to see them alongside the adult options.
Should I choose a light or dark shirt for a mechanic?
Dark shirts tend to hide grease and dirt better, which makes them a practical pick for daily work. Light shirts look crisp for days off.
Can I put a certification on the shirt?
Yes. If they hold a certification like ASE, type it into the text box on its own line. Only add it if it fits the person you're buying for.
What sizes do the shop tech shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a shop tech gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
