Gifts from Slemp
Slemp is a surname with deep roots in Virginia's mountain country, and it's the kind of name people in a family or a small community tend to hang onto. Because it's uncommon, a shirt with Slemp on it sparks questions at a reunion, a family cookout, or a trip back to the hills. The word works best as a family or hometown marker: a tee for the cousin who still lives close to the old homeplace, a hoodie for cold mornings in the mountains, or a mug for the kitchen where the family gathers. You can pair the name with a year, a town, or a family branch on the second line. If you're not sure of the spelling the family uses, check first, since small variations are common in older records. Because the name is uncommon, the designs are also easy to tell apart from the mass-market options.
Slemp gift questions
What is the Slemp name usually associated with?
Slemp is a surname most often found among families in Southwest Virginia and nearby Appalachian areas. Many people with the name have deep family roots in the region.
Can I add a town or family line to a Slemp design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a hometown, a reunion year, or a family branch name under the main word.
Should I double-check the spelling before ordering?
Yes, it's worth it. Older family records sometimes spell the name differently, so use the version the recipient actually signs with.
Is there a way to get shirts for a whole family group?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one Slemp design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the slemp shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Slemp gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
