Gifts from Slinger
Slinger is a word most people outside one place won't recognize, so the shirt does the explaining. A Slinger tee is a way of saying you're from there, that you know the local shorthand and wear it without apology. Slinger is the kind of name a city's people hold onto, and a gift with it lands best when it's for someone who's left, come back, or simply never stopped being proud of where they grew up. Start with the main word, then use the second line for a neighborhood, a school, or the year they moved away. A hoodie fits the cold months and a mug fits the kitchen table, so the shirt gets worn while the mug reminds them of home every morning. If you're not sure how the word is spelled or capitalized locally, check with someone from there before you order, because that's the detail they'll notice first.
