Slow Worm gifts for the people who love them
Slow worms are legless lizards, not snakes, which is the first thing most people get wrong about them. They have eyelids and can drop their tails when grabbed, and they spend most of their lives under logs, stones and garden compost where you'd rarely see them. A gift for someone who loves slow worms is usually for a person who notices small wildlife, goes looking for it on evening walks, or keeps a patch of garden tidy for the creatures living in it. A shirt or hoodie with Slow Worm on it fits a day outdoors and starts a conversation with other people who care about reptiles and amphibians. A mug suits the morning tea before they head out to check the log pile. If the recipient is a kid fascinated by animals, a kids tee or baby onesie with the word works too, and a second line with their name or a favorite creature keeps it personal.
Slow Worm gift questions
Are slow worms actually snakes?
No. Slow worms are legless lizards. They have movable eyelids and can shed part of their tail, which snakes do not do, and they're common across much of Europe and parts of Asia.
Can I add a name or a second line to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a name, a favorite place, or a year under Slow Worm.
Is a slow worm something a child would enjoy as a theme?
Yes. Many kids who love animals are drawn to slow worms because they look like snakes but are harmless lizards, which makes them a good conversation starter.
What sizes do the slow worm shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a slow worm gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
