Picking a gift for a software development internship
A software development intern is usually a student or career-changer spending a summer or a semester learning how real codebases work, which is a lot to absorb at once. They're fielding pull request reviews, learning the team's git habits and figuring out which Slack channel is actually useful. A gift that acknowledges that first real job tends to land well: something to wear to the office on a hybrid day, or a mug for the long debugging sessions. Pick the design that fits their mood, then add a second line with their team, their school or their start year. That turns a generic internship shirt into one that belongs to them. Interns often want to feel like they belong on the team, so a hoodie or mug with their own name or role can mean more than a gift card.
Software Development Internship gift questions
Can I add their company or team name to the design?
Many designs have a second line for a name, year or team. Type what you want there and the preview updates before you order.
Is there a shirt for an intern who is still in school?
Yes. Most designs work for students as well, so you can add their school or graduation year if that's the bigger milestone.
Are there designs that work for other developer roles too?
Yes. If they're moving into a full-time role later, you can reuse the same idea with a different word on a new order.
What sizes do the software development internship shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a software development internship gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
