Picking a gift for a software director
A software director usually sits between the engineers who build the product and the executives who need to know when it will ship. Their days are a run of sprint reviews, hiring loops, roadmap debates and the occasional production incident that pulls everyone back to the same channel. Most of the work is coordination, so a gift that acknowledges the job's pace and its tradeoffs will land better than a generic office joke. A tee or hoodie works well for the long video-call days, and a mug is the one thing on the desk that's guaranteed to be theirs during a standup-heavy week. Add their title exactly as it appears on their badge, or a second line for the team or product they lead. That detail tells them you noticed what they actually do, which matters more to a manager than any slogan.
Software Director gift questions
Can I add their company or team name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a team, product or department name there and check the spacing in the live preview.
Is a software director gift better as a shirt or a mug?
It depends on their setting. Remote or hybrid directors often wear hoodies on calls, while office-based directors tend to use a mug every day.
Can I order for a whole engineering leadership group?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you pick one design, paste a list of names, and choose a size for each person so everyone gets their own shirt.
What sizes do the software director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a software director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
