Picking a gift for a surgery technician
Surgery techs spend their shifts handing instruments to surgeons, counting sponges, and keeping the sterile field exactly where it belongs, often on their feet for hours in a cold room with a mask on. The gifts they keep tend to be the ones that acknowledge that quiet, exacting work. A soft tee for the drive home after a long case, a hoodie for the chilly OR corridor, or a mug for the break room that's clearly theirs. Put the words surgery tech on the shirt, or add the specialty they work in, such as ortho, cardiac or neuro, and it stops being a generic medical shirt and becomes theirs. If you're shopping for a whole surgical team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which lands better than another box of donuts. National Surgical Technologist Week is in late August, and it's a good time to order ahead.
Surgery Technician gift questions
Can I add a credential like CST after the job title?
Yes. Type it into the text box after the title or on its own line, and the preview will show you how it sits before you order. Only add a credential they actually hold.
When is National Surgical Technologist Week?
It falls in late August each year. If you want a shirt in hand for the week, order a couple of weeks earlier to be safe.
What's a good gift for someone who just finished surgical tech school?
A hoodie or tee with their new title and the year they finished. It marks the milestone and gives them something they can wear on the first day at a new job.
Can I order shirts for my whole surgical team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the surgery technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a surgery technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
