Picking a gift for a surgical services assistant
A surgical services assistant keeps the operating room running. They set up instrument trays, restock supplies between cases, and help the team move a patient from the prep area to the table and back out again. It's detail work done on very long days, often on hard floors, in scrubs that never quite fit the way they should. A gift that acknowledges that work lands best when it's comfortable and clearly theirs. A dark tee or hoodie is what they'll reach for after a shift, and a mug with their name is the one that stays put in the break room. Type their name or their role into the second line, the way they'd introduce themselves, and the design stops being generic. If you're buying for a whole surgical team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which tends to mean more than another card passed around the desk.
Surgical Services Assistant gift questions
Can I add a name or a unit under the job title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type a name, a unit or a credential there and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is surgical services assistant the official job title?
Titles vary between hospitals and clinics, so the design uses the wording you type. If your recipient's title is slightly different, change the text to match what they put on their badge.
What's a good gift for someone starting a new surgical services job?
A hoodie or tee with their role and start year. It's useful for the first cold months of early shifts and marks the new start.
Can I order shirts for everyone on the surgical team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the surgical services assistant shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a surgical services assistant gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
