Gifts from Techny
Techny is a small place, and most people outside a few Chicago-area zip codes have never heard of it. That's exactly why a Techny shirt means something to the people who have. It's a name for a neighborhood or a community that's easy to overlook, so the person who grew up there, or who lives there now, probably gets asked where it is more often than they'd like. A shirt answers that question before it's asked. Because the word is uncommon, the best gifts pair it with something personal: a street, a school, a year, or the name of the person who's wearing it. A hoodie works well for the cold months, a mug for the kitchen, and a tee for anyone who likes to start a conversation about where they're from. For a relative who moved away, a Techny mug or shirt is a quiet reminder of home.
Techny gift questions
Is Techny a city or a neighborhood?
Techny is a small community in the Chicago area, and most of the people who know it live nearby or grew up there. If you're unsure how to describe it on the gift, the design itself will carry the name.
Can I add a street or school name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a street, a school, a year or a team. Type it in and the preview will show you how it looks.
What's a good gift for someone who moved away from Techny?
A mug or tee with the Techny name works well. It's a small, everyday reminder of home that's easy to wear or use.
Do you have kids and baby designs for Techny?
Yes. There are Techny designs for kids tees, dark kids tees and baby onesies, so the whole family can match.
What sizes do the techny shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
