Gifts for Utilization Management Managers

Picking a gift for an utilization management manager

A utilization management manager spends a lot of the day deciding whether care is necessary, checking authorizations and keeping a team of reviewers on schedule, often between phone calls and a long queue of cases. It's a job that rarely gets thanked out loud, so the gifts that land tend to be the ones that acknowledge the work specifically. A tee for casual Fridays, a hoodie for the cold conference room, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the morning coffee before the first meeting. Put the title on the shirt exactly as it reads on their badge, and add a second line for the department, the health system or the year they took the role. That small detail turns a generic work shirt into one that says you know what they actually do. If you're buying for a whole team, the Team Shop can print one design with each manager's name on their own shirt, which is a nicer send-off than another office sheet cake.
