Gifts from Walnut Shade
Walnut Shade is a small place, and that's exactly why people who grew up there carry it with them. It's the kind of town where everybody knows which porch belongs to whom, and a shirt or mug with the name is how a person who has moved away says where they're from without a long explanation. For a homesick transplant, a Walnut Shade mug on the desk is a small daily reminder. For a family that still goes back for holidays or summer weekends, matching shirts make the trip feel like an occasion. Since the place name is the whole point, the second line is where you make it theirs: add the street they grew up on, the year they left, or the high school class they graduated with. Those details are what turn a place name into a story only the two of you share.
