Gifts from Windmill Point
Windmill Point is a small, old part of Boston's Charlestown and Boston Harbor waterfront, the kind of place people who grew up nearby talk about with real attachment. Someone from there may have the neighborhood in their blood even after moving on, and a shirt with the name is a quiet way to say where they're from. Because the name is specific, a gift like this works best when you add a detail only someone from there would recognize, such as a street, a year they moved, or the neighborhood they were born in. The product choice matters too. A hoodie suits a cold harbor walk, a mug suits the kitchen of someone who misses home, and a tee is easy for weekends and summer. Many designs have a second line, so you can put the neighborhood on top and a personal detail underneath.
