Gifts from Wonewoc
Wonewoc is a small village in Juneau County, Wisconsin, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto it hard. A shirt with the village name is how someone wears a hometown that's too small for most maps but big in their memory. It suits the graduate heading off to college, the family who keeps coming back for summer weekends, and the cousin who moved away and still roots for the local high school in the group chat. Because the name is short and distinctive, it reads cleanly on a tee or hoodie without much fuss. You can add a second line for a graduating class, a street, or the year someone left, so the shirt tells a bit of their story rather than just the place name. A mug works well for the parent or grandparent who wants a daily reminder of home at the kitchen table.
