About this artist representative gift
An artist representative works between creators and the people who buy or show their work. They negotiate contracts, pitch portfolios to galleries and clients, keep track of deadlines and commissions, and often spend more hours on email and calls than anyone expects from the job. The gifts that land tend to be the ones that acknowledge the balancing act: a tee for the drive to a studio visit, a hoodie for the long days in a gallery office, a mug for the phone-call mornings when the coffee needs to be strong. Add the word exactly as they use it on a business card, or a second line for their agency, city or a studio they represent, and the shirt becomes theirs. A good representative spends their career making other people look good, so a gift that's clearly made for them and not for the artist is a quiet kind of thank you.
