About this beecher city gift
Beecher City is a small town in Effingham County, Illinois, and the people who grew up there tend to be proud of it in a quiet way. A shirt with the town name is the kind of thing that gets worn to the high school football game, the county fair, a family reunion, or just around the house on a Saturday. The people most likely to love one are the ones who left and came back for holidays, the grandparents who never stopped saying they were from Beecher City, and the new arrivals who want to show they've adopted the place. A hoodie works well for cold Midwest mornings, and a mug fits the kitchen table where everyone ends up talking about the old days. Adding a year, a class, or a family name on the second line makes it feel like theirs, not just a souvenir.
