About this chocowinity gift
Chocowinity is a small town in Beaufort County, North Carolina, and the people from there tend to hold on to it. Someone who grew up in Chocowinity probably knows every road out of town and has a favorite spot to eat or fish nearby, and a shirt with the town name is how they say so when they're far from home. It's a name that makes people ask where it is, which is a good conversation to hand someone who's proud of where they're from. A Chocowinity tee works well for a family reunion, a move away, or just a Saturday in the yard. The mug suits the one who has been gone a while and still checks on the town. Adding a year, like the year they were born or the year the family moved there, turns the shirt into something only they would understand.
