About this dietitian gift
Dietitians spend their days translating nutrition science into something a real person can actually eat on a Tuesday. They counsel patients with diabetes, plan meals for hospital units, work through school lunch menus and answer the endless question of whether coffee counts as a food group. Their work is quiet and detail-heavy, and most of them would rather get a gift that matches their sense of humor than one that's obviously about food. A dietitian who has spent the afternoon explaining sodium limits will probably appreciate a tee that makes the job look a little fun. Look for the credentials they earned, RD or RDN, and consider adding their specialty, such as clinical, pediatric or sports nutrition, to make the shirt feel like theirs. Dietitians also tend to bring a reusable mug everywhere, so an 11 oz mug with their title can become a daily favorite. The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential is the one many people in the field use, so if your recipient holds it, typing RDN into the design is a small detail that tends to land well.
