About this east meadow gift
East Meadow is a hamlet on Long Island, New York, and people from there tend to carry the name with them wherever they go. Whether they grew up at the high school, still drive past the same parks, or moved away years ago and miss the Long Island suburbs, a shirt with the town name is an easy way to say where they're from. Because it's a small community rather than a big city, the people who know it best often have their own pride in a particular street, school or team. Add a second line with a school year, a neighborhood or a family name and the shirt starts to feel like theirs. The hoodie works well for cold months and for college students heading out, and a mug with the town name is a daily reminder for anyone who has moved away. Look over the designs and pick the one that matches how they talk about home.
