About this garbage collector gift
Garbage collectors start before most of the neighborhood is awake, and the work is heavy, early, and often thankless until the bins are gone and the street is clear. They know every route, every dog that barks at the truck, and exactly which driveway gets blocked on trash day. A gift that says garbage collector tells them someone noticed. A soft tee for the early shift, a hoodie for the cold mornings on the back of the truck, or a mug for the coffee they drink before the first stop will all get used. To make it theirs, add their route number, their crew or their company name in the second line if they want it, or just their first name. Trash day is the simplest hook for a gift, and a good moment to give one is any time the crew is getting through a rough stretch of weather or holidays.
