About this hesperus gift
Hesperus is a small town in southwestern Colorado, and the people who call it home tend to be proud of how far from everything it sits. A shirt that says Hesperus is how a local wears the name on a trip out of the county, at a college campus, or at a family reunion where nobody else has heard of it. Because the name is uncommon, it works as a conversation starter as much as a souvenir. Many people from small towns feel a pull toward where they grew up, and a simple tee or mug with the town name on it gives them something to reach for when they're far away. A hoodie suits the cold mountain mornings, and a mug is an easy everyday reminder. Add a second line with a year, a graduation or a family name to make it theirs, since the town name alone already says a lot about where they come from.
