About this lobata gift
Lobata is a name you'll mostly find in a gazetteer, so the people who live there tend to be proud of it in a quiet way. Because the word is uncommon, a shirt or mug with Lobata on it does a lot of work: it starts conversations, and it's the sort of gift a person from a small place doesn't often see on a store shelf. Since there isn't a lot of standard merchandise tied to it, a personal design stands out. Consider adding a second line with the year they moved there, the street they grew up on, or the name of the family they're part of. That turns a place name into something that belongs to them. A hoodie suits the cold months, a dark tee suits everyday wear, and a mug suits the morning routine of someone who still calls it home.
