About this manager intelligence gift
Managers who run teams are usually the last to get thanked and the first to be blamed, so a gift that says they're the one holding it all together lands well. The word here is manager intelligence, which reads as a little tongue in cheek, the kind of thing a team would say about the person who always knows where the schedule is and what the client wants before the meeting starts. A shirt or hoodie for the weekend, a mug for the first coffee of a long planning day, or a onesie for a manager who just became a parent all give them something that feels like it was picked by someone who noticed. Add a second line with their team name, their title or the year they took the role to make it theirs. The shirt doesn't have to be serious; a light joke about how their brain works is often the thing they'll actually wear.
