About this manager tax gift
A manager tax is the unpaid extra that comes with a management role: the calls after hours, the scheduling puzzles, the team member who needs a little more handholding than everyone else. They've probably told you they get paid to do the work and paid again in stress. A gift that acknowledges the tax lands well. Put the words on a tee they can wear on a Friday when the week went sideways, a hoodie for the early meeting in the cold parking lot, or a mug that sits on the desk through the budget review. Because the phrase is a little wry, the shirt works as an inside joke with coworkers who've felt the same thing. Keep the design bold and simple so it reads as a funny nod rather than a complaint about their job.
