About this maquon gift
Maquon is a small village in Knox County, Illinois, and a lot of its people never really leave, even after they move to Peoria or Galesburg for work. A shirt with the village name is how they claim it at a family reunion, a high school gathering or a county fair where half the crowd knows where they're from. Small places tend to show up in a gift through the people who stayed and the people who came back, so think about who's connected to the village and what they'd wear around town. Type Maquon into a design and see how it sits on a tee, a hoodie or an 11 oz mug. For a kid, a baby onesie with the village name gives a head start on where they're from. If you know a family line tied to the village, add a year or a family name on the second line for something more personal.
