About this meriden gift
Meriden is a Connecticut city in New Haven County, the kind of place where people who grew up there tend to stay connected to it no matter how far they move. A Meriden shirt is how a former resident waves the flag at a reunion, at a family visit, or on a trip back through town. Because the city has its own identity apart from the bigger towns around it, a shirt that says Meriden on the front reads as a real hometown pride piece rather than a generic souvenir. For the person who moved away for school or work and still calls it home, a mug with the city name starts the morning with a little reminder of where they're from. A hoodie does the same job in cooler months, and kids' tees and baby onesies let families pass the pride down to the next generation. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a neighborhood, a graduation year, or a family name underneath to make it personal.
