About this paraglider gift
A paraglider pilot spends a lot of time watching the sky for thermals and checking wind on a hillside launch, and most of their gear lives in a car trunk between flights. A shirt that says Paraglider is the thing they'll reach for on a windy morning at the launch site, and it's a good way to say what they do without a long explanation to the stranger next to them. They're often in the mountains or on a coast with changing weather, so a hoodie is the layer that goes on first when the air cools off after a flight. A mug suits the pilot who sits in the parking lot after a glide, going over the flight in their head. Shopping for someone like this works best when you add a detail only a paraglider would recognize, like their club, their launch site, or the year they got their wings. Use the second line for that, and the gift will look like it was made for them and nobody else.
All paraglider gifts →- A tee for the launch sitePut the name of their favorite hill or launch site on the second line. It's the detail other pilots will notice first.
- A hoodie for cold morning launchesParagliders often launch early, when the air is still cold. A Paraglider hoodie covers that gap between the car and the first flight.
- A mug for the post-flight debriefAn 11oz mug with their name or flying nickname is the one they'll bring to the parking lot to talk through the day's conditions.
- A dark tee for the flying clubPick a dark tee if they mostly wear black and grey, and add the club name. Matching shirts for a whole club are easy in the Team Shop.
