About this peculiar gift
Peculiar is a small city in Missouri, a few miles south of Kansas City, and the people who live there tend to be proud of it. A Peculiar shirt is the kind of thing a local wears to the county fair, to a high school game, or on the drive back into town after a long trip. The name gets a laugh from strangers, and locals enjoy watching the reaction. For someone who grew up there and moved away, a Peculiar mug on the kitchen counter is a small daily reminder of home. For a relative who still lives in town, a hoodie with the city name is a warm, funny gift that works through the cold months. Add a second line with a year or a street name and it becomes something only the recipient would really get.
