Blue Pencil Bluff dark tee

About this pencil bluff gift

Pencil Bluff is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the town name is how someone from there says hello to a stranger at a gas station, or wears their roots to a big-city office where nobody has heard of it. Small towns make good gifts because the details are shared: the school, the main street, the people everyone knows. Add a year, a graduation class or a street name to a design and the shirt starts to belong to one particular person instead of a map dot. A hoodie works for the cold months in a town like this, and a mug suits the one who moved away and still reads the local news. Since the town is a small place, a shirt or mug that clearly says where it's from is the kind of gift that gets kept and worn for years.
