About this plane captain gift
A plane captain is the person who walks the aircraft before and after every flight, checking the fluid levels, tires, and control surfaces, and signing off that the airplane is safe to fly. It's a job most passengers never see, done in hangars and on ramps at all hours, often in heat, cold, or rain. A gift that acknowledges that work lands better than a generic aviation shirt. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is something they can wear on the flight line or on days off, and a mug gives them a reminder of their name on the coffee they drink before the first walkaround of the shift. Add the airline, base, or aircraft type in the second line if you know it, and the design becomes theirs rather than just an aviation slogan. If you're shopping for a whole crew, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a good team gift for a retirement, a promotion, or a season wrapping up.
