About this royal gift
Royal is a city name in a few places, most notably Royal Oak in Michigan and Royal Palm Beach in Florida, and a person who grew up in one of them tends to carry it around. Royal Oak is a suburb of Detroit with a lively downtown and a strong sense of local pride, so a shirt with the town name is a natural fit for anyone who calls it home, including people who moved away and miss it. Royal Palm Beach has its own pull for families who stayed in South Florida. Whichever place they're from, the gift lands best when the design says where they're from and, if you know it, what they're proud of there. Add a street name, the year they moved away, or a high school class if that's the story. A hoodie suits the cold months back home, and a mug works for the transplant who wants a daily reminder. If you're not sure which Royal they mean, ask before you order.
