About this shaniko gift
Shaniko is a small town in north central Oregon, and the people who call it home tend to know every other person there by name. A shirt with Shaniko on it is how a Shaniko person says where they're from, whether they live there year-round or left for a job in Portland and still drive back for the holidays. For someone who's proud of a small place, the gift should feel like it came from someone who knows where they belong. Put the town name front and center, then use the second line for a year, a family name or a street. A Shaniko hoodie works well for cold weather, and a mug suits the person who wants their hometown in the morning. The town is small enough that a gift with its name on it will get noticed and talked about, which is usually exactly what the person wants.
