About this teachers assistant gift
Teacher's assistants spend their days in the middle of the action, working one on one with a struggling reader, keeping a group on task while the lead teacher handles a lesson, and covering recess when the schedule falls apart. The gifts they keep are the ones that acknowledge that behind-the-scenes work. A soft tee for the classroom, a hoodie for the chilly morning carpool, or a mug for the staff room coffee run all say you see what they do. Put their title on it, and add the grade level, school or subject they support, like Kindergarten, Special Ed or Library. That turns a generic profession shirt into one that's theirs. If you're buying for a whole support team, one design with each person's name in the Team Shop is a thoughtful way to celebrate them together. Many schools hold staff appreciation events in May, and the weeks before winter break are a busy time to order.
