About this upper tract gift
Upper Tract is a small town in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, in the Monongahela National Forest, so the people who'd wear this shirt are likely to be proud of a place that doesn't show up on most maps. A shirt that says Upper Tract is a way to claim a hometown that's easy to overlook, whether the person now lives nearby or has moved far away. Town shirts tend to work best as everyday wear: a hoodie for hiking or cold mornings, a tee for the drive back for a visit, a mug for the kitchen of someone who misses the mountains. If you know a detail that belongs to them, such as the year they moved away, a family name or the road they grew up on, put it on the second line so the shirt reads as theirs and not just the town's. Because the place is small, a shirt like this often gets noticed and asked about, which can be part of the fun.
