About this virden gift
Virden is a small town, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A Virden shirt is how they answer the question where are you from, or how they show up at a reunion, a homecoming game or a family visit back home. Small places make a strong gift because the people who love them are proud of them in a particular way: they know the main street by heart and they recognize each other across a parking lot. A tee for the one who still lives there is a nice everyday wear. A hoodie suits the one who moved away and misses the cold mornings. A mug on the kitchen counter is a quiet reminder of home for anyone who has built a life somewhere else. Add a second line with a year, a graduating class or a nickname from the old crowd and the shirt stops being a souvenir and starts being theirs.
