About this wait staff gift
Wait staff spend their shifts on their feet, carrying trays, remembering orders and smiling through the slow Tuesday and the packed Friday alike. The gifts they keep tend to be the ones that make the off hours easier: a soft tee for the drive home, a hoodie for the cold walk to the car after close, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't disappear into the kitchen. Servers and bartenders also know the value of a little recognition from the people who see the hard part of the job. Put their name on the design, and if they work at a particular restaurant or bar, add that place on a second line. It turns a generic work shirt into something they'll actually wear on their day off. A mug or hoodie is a good pick for a coworker who covers shifts for you, and a tee works well for a friend who's been carrying the family's dinner plans through a rough season.
