About this whippany gift
Whippany is a small place in Morris County, New Jersey, and people who grew up there tend to hold on to it. A shirt with Whippany on it is how they claim the town, whether they still live a few streets from the old school or ended up in another state and miss the local diner. Because the name is specific, the gift works best when it's aimed at someone with a real connection to the town: a former resident, a family that's been there for generations, or a friend who spent summers there. Add a second line with a street, a school year or a family name and it becomes theirs in particular. For someone who's moved away, an 11 oz mug in the morning is a small daily reminder of home. For a teenager or a young family, a hoodie reads as local pride without being loud about it.
