About this altro gift
Altro is a word most shoppers will need to look up, and that's worth knowing before you write a single line on a shirt. Altro is an Italian word meaning other, another, or else, so a design with it reads as a small, quiet joke for someone who speaks Italian, and a curious question for everyone else. If the person you're shopping for is a traveler, a language learner, or someone with Italian roots, the word can carry a real connection. For a city-minded gift, you can use the word as the main line and add a second line with the city or neighborhood that matters to them, so the shirt names a place and the word sits on top as a quiet detail. The mug works well for a kitchen that already holds other reminders of wherever they like to go.
