About this beverage director gift
A beverage director runs the drinks side of a restaurant or hotel: wine lists, cocktail menus, bar staffing, purchasing, and the training that keeps a bar team sharp. The hours are long, the tasting is constant, and most of the work happens after the dining room empties out. A gift that acknowledges the craft lands best. Think about what they actually spend their days on, whether that's building a by-the-glass list, training servers on pairings, or running inventory at close. A shirt or mug with their title on it tells them you recognize that. Add the venue or the city in the second line if you know it, and the gift becomes about their place as well as their job. Given how much time they spend at a bar, a sturdy mug for the morning coffee is also a quiet nod to the other beverage they can't do without.
