About this calciminer gift
A calciminer is someone who applies calcimine, the chalk-and-glue whitewash that was the go-to wall and ceiling finish before washable paints took over. It's a trade most people have never heard of, which is exactly why a gift with the word on it lands as a small joke only they will fully get. The work is hands-on, dusty and mostly done overhead, so the gifts that feel right are the ones that fit a working day: a tee for the job site or the drive to it, a hoodie for cold mornings on a ladder, a mug for the break. Because the word is uncommon, a shirt that says calciminer on the front and a line of your own underneath, like a company name, a city or a year they started, makes it theirs. You can type any of those into the second line and check the preview before you order.
All calciminer gifts →- A tee for the job sitePut calciminer on a light or dark tee, and add the name of their crew or company on the second line.
- A hoodie for cold morningsCalcimine work often starts early and runs through the cold months, so a warm hoodie with their trade on it earns its keep.
- A mug for the breakAn 11 oz mug with their trade is a clear marker for the coffee they carry up the ladder.
- A kids tee for the familyIf their kids are curious about what Dad or Mom does, a kids tee with the word is an easy way to start the conversation.
