About this cissna park gift
Cissna Park is a small village in Iroquois County, Illinois, and the people who grew up there tend to carry the town with them wherever they land. Small-town pride shows up in the way they talk about the grain elevator, the school, and the friends they still see at the county fair. A shirt with the town name is how they say where they're from without a long explanation. It suits a homecoming visit, a family reunion, or a move out of state, when the person misses the quiet streets and the familiar faces. For someone who still lives there, a hoodie gets worn through the cold months that every Illinois winter brings. Adding a year, a class, or a family name to the second line makes the shirt personal and gives the person a story to tell when someone asks where they're from.
