About this de forest gift
De Forest is a village in Dane County, Wisconsin, a small place just north of Madison. The people who live there tend to be proud of a town that still feels like a town, with its own main street, school spirit and folks who know each other's dogs. A shirt or mug with De Forest on it is a way to claim that, whether the recipient still lives there, grew up there and moved away, or just drives through on the way to somewhere else. For someone who left, a mug on the kitchen counter is a small reminder of home every morning. For someone who stayed, a hoodie for the cold Wisconsin months says it plainly. Add a second line with the years they lived there, or the street they grew up on, and the design becomes about their own version of De Forest, not just the name on a sign.
